About
Working out which funders, statutes and colleges apply to a housing or mental-health program in the North means reading a lot of documents. This site points you to the right page faster. It does not replace reading it.
How an answer is made
- Your question is matched against 2,613 passages from the 60 documents on the sources page. Short forms like HPP or ONCA are expanded first.
- The closest passages, at most three from any one document, are sent to Claude (Anthropic's model) with its citation feature turned on.
- Claude may only write what it can cite. Each citation carries the exact words it relied on, which is what you see in the quotes.
- Before the answer is shown, code checks every sentence. A sentence without a citation is removed, and the answer says how many were removed. If nothing cited is left, you are told no document covers the question.
What it will not do
It will not answer questions about a specific person or case, give medical or clinical guidance, write proposals or letters, or give legal, tax or immigration advice. Questions containing a phone number, email address or ID number are stopped before they are sent anywhere.
How current it is
Programs open, close and change their rules. Every answer shows when its oldest source was last checked, and the whole library is re-checked on the third of each month. If a document has changed, the site is rebuilt before it quotes it again.
Privacy
No account, no cookies, no tracking. Your question goes to Anthropic's API to write the answer and is not stored by this site.
Who made it
Built by James Dare in Toronto, with Omoyeni Rasaq, RSSW, as reviewer. She works in mental health and housing in the Kenora District and checks answers against real questions from that work. She reviews in a personal capacity, not for her employer. The site will say it is reviewed once her first pass is done. Questions or corrections: dev@jamesdare.com.
